Why I created the wiki, and where I hope to go...
To answer the above question and in the interest of full disclosure, my husband is Kirkburn. The honest reason I started the wiki is because he is a notorious recluse, and even though I'm not much better I did just finish university, making me relatively down with the pop culture. So when he came to me on Wikia's behalf, asking if I had any thoughts on how to increase the UK contingent's activity, The Great British Sewing Bee was the first thing that came to mind (or nearly first, anyway).
Of course, I couldn't commit to anything I couldn't be completely mad about; aside from occassionally asking my advice on wiki issues or experiences (I started working with wikis in 2007, about a year after he did, at wowwiki.com. In fact, that's how we met…
